BBQ and Fun Shoot - 28th June 2009

I have to report that, despite a brief downpour, this was a great success. Many thanks to those who organised things, prepared the food and generally slogged away so that the rest of us could have some fun!

The main event of the day (apart from the vast quantities of food etc) was a 'Fun Shoot' using the club training bows, club arrows and no sights. Fortunately the distance was kept short, the targets large and the ground in a good condition for finding the arrows easily.

The main event was followed by a completely unplanned but hugely enjoyable clout shoot. Suggestions are that his might be a good idea for the next fun event.
